I saw the owners son coming down the hill on his bicycle holding a hapless chuck by its legs flapping its wings wildly. A wicker basket with salad veg and herbs was attached to the back. The fat chef pointing at my approaching very alive bird shouted ‘Your dinner!’ grinning happily, I grinned back queasily.

There was a very real danger of being crushed between the boats and it was very tricky to time it right on the first time attempt. I did out of fear and horror. Boom I threw myself on the deck without their bloody “One, two, threeeee”
Aquamarine almost glowing water which I gratefully dived into. The crashing water became deafening as I swam closer and the frigid water was so exhilarating that I gasped. In these falls and the deep pool, I felt truly cleansed and also the sensation was almost like a baptising if you will, a renewal of positive life force. If this sounds too hippy-dippy try it for yourself some time. As I meditated on this I felt completely rejuvenated.
