BOGOTA BUENAS DIAS!

OR LOVELY BOGOTA DESPITE BRITISH AIRWAYS FIASCO!

Got to this lovely city two days ago after British Airways made a solid attempt to scupper my trip. It was finally 21 hours to get here! More on that later Grrrrrr!!!

BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE: BOGOTA IS THE BEST (SO FAR)

It was all so easy at the airport, I went straight through and the passport official even looked at a small space to stamp rather than use a fresh page in my crowded passport. It doesn’t sound much but I could have wept at the small kindness of strangers at that time. I got a cab immediately and it was only 35’000 Pesos about £8. Hotel didn’t appear that great til I got to my room, It’s like a goddam city penthouse!

Other view from my room, I’ve really fallen on my feet at this hotel
one view from my bedroom! It’s really a fabulous view that I have!
Building murals all over the placemakes for a much cheerier and brighter place

Mad running around and and catching up with my rusty Spanish has meant I’ve been too busy to write much but I’ll fill you all in ASAP.

ALERT: Something has gone wrong with my WordPress on my laptop so I’m unable to use many of it’s functions. Be patient until I sort it, It’ll look a bit random at the mo!!!

OVER AND OUT FROM A FRANTIC REBECCA!
