OR IS NOBODY TO LAUGH THESE DAYS?
Tomorrow, first of January, has always been a time of much hilarity at the expense of people who aren’t up early enough and can be sprung upon. In the old days tricks could be really mean. We were tougher then.
For example one time I was nominated to run into my brothers room shouting there was a fire in the kitchen. It was the only time he ever made his bed.
Wouldn’t it be great if we all woke up tomorrow to this being a hideous prank?
