Well I still haven’t made it outside but I’m going to try to get to see my son. Whether he can make it all the way over (about ten minutes by car) or if I’ll have to make it to some predesignated place is still unsure I’ve not had radio contact since the terrible day when Xmas wiped out the population of most of the planet. I saw some dazed survivors yesterday from my window but today the looting will begin in earnest. Everything that has remained in the shops will be pillaged for ridiculous prices in comparison to what they cost two days ago. These are dark times indeed.

He strikes again

Deady Ray strikes again…..

Although these people had gone into a frenzy of panic shopping before the day Xmas arrived they still don’t feel sated and many will be injured in the crush today as their terrible hunger for just one more purchase has not worked itself out of their systems. Their large swollen stomachs will impede them in the struggle, their breath rancid after all the alcohol will make others gag and their fevered bright eyes will only focus on more things that cheaply glitter, ignoring other humans in the scrummage. These dark times will pass as people reach the zenith of this diabolical fever. Things will return to normal in but a few days but it’s wise to stay away from over populated zones in the meantime.

On the first day in the fresh year when the effects of the Xmas Death Ray have finally passed people will turn to each other bewildered. They will shout “I will never stay here again. I will travel to a place where the death ray is less potent I will take my family somewhere safe, I will…..” they know it is futile and that it will never happen. They know that to escape costs a kings ransom. They know that they are stuck in this terrible cycle.

Even in the suburbs hell is let loose
After Xmas there’s a last surge of panic buying fever

I will try to record another message for you all on the last day of this year when we will be preparing for the new year of 2020. I will check in on you all and hope you are all recovering before the last frenzied dance before normality. You will have a hangover but things will get brighter I promise…….

The gluttony knows no end at this traumatic time of year
